Options...Options...Options...

Ok, so this blog may be a bit OCD but I figured I might as well put hours of internet research to good use by sharing them with you guys. And it gives me something to do while Steve plays Guitar Hero.

I love Corinna for being so laid back and cool about the bridesmaid dress thing, but am so paralyzed by all the options that being forced to march down the aisle Rockettes-style in puke green taffeta doesn't sound half bad...

So- let the games begin! Here are a bunch of great sites for green dresses I've found so far....

1. Bluefly
http://www.bluefly.com/

This site rocks. You can sort it by "dresses" and then "green". I never realized how many sites won't let you sort by a specific color. More stores should assume only a certain dress of a certain color will do! There are always online sales going and if you register- they send coupon codes & specials almost every day.

They have over 70 green dresses right now, but here are a couple cute ones:

Elie Tahari
emerald stretch georgette smocked 'Maryanne' dress $239

Vera Wang $237 (40% off!!)
grass jersey elasticized empire waist dress

Tufi Duek ($144)
TD by Tufi Duek forest green jersey deep v-neck 'Brunella' dress

There are lots and lots of other green dresses at http://www.bluefly.com/.

2. JCREW Dress Collection
http://www.jcrew.com/

I was a little bummed at JCrew's selection last month, but they just came out with a new dress catalog, which has some really good options. LOTs of green- which they let you sort by.

Here is a link to all of their green dresses: http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/category.jhtml?catColor=springdress171col.green&id=cat302201&laydown=1

Silk faille Mirabelle dress $395

Strapless Florence dress $250.00

Brushstroke-print Sydney dress $165.00

They have super cute shoes too-

3. Nordstrom

The easiest way to search this site is to go to the Advanced Search feature here: http://shop.nordstrom.com/AS/?origin=searchbar, where you can select women's apparel, dress shop and color.

Here is a sampling of dresses from Nordstrom: Most range from $100-220

Eliza J- $158

I know C said no shiny, but I really liked this next one...

Nicole Miller ($220)
4. Ann Taylor

Ann Taylor came out with a "Celebrations" collection right around the time I got married. My sister actually wore one of these dresses in it. Here are a couple....

...and another Ann Taylor dress (not in Celebration's collection- look under 'dress' section of website)

5. In Style Magazine shopping page.
http://shopping.instyle.com/browse/dresses
This one is a little harder to navigate (no color search function), but has tons of dresses to scroll through. They consolidate options from tons of other sites (including some I've listed above) and then links you to them. The first search brings up 1975 pages of dresses, so I recommend searching on "Green Dress" which brings it down to 99 pages. Yup...99 pages.

Here are a couple to give you an idea of what you can find here:

My Favorites so far....
After all this searching- I've narrowed down my choices to about 3 so far. Anyone want to help me decide? Though I'm not entirely sure I'm done looking. :)

A. Diane von Furstenberg

Same dress, but the longer version....

B. JCrew
